Arsenal wing wizard Theo Walcott has been ruled out of the Champions League home tie with Montpellier tomorrow night. Theo will miss out due to a knock, he received against Spurs, on his infamous shoulder.
Arsene Wenger revealed that Theo Walcott had missed training today and will be sent for a scan to understand the extent of the injury, though it is presumed not to be serious.
Andre Santos is expected to miss the clash also after picking up an injury in the Tottenham game.
Arsene Wenger spoke ahead of the crucial Champions League fixture –
‘There’s no risk that this team is complacent. The team will be full of desire to do well and win,’ said the Frenchman.
‘First [we want] to qualify. It’s important that we show another good performance.
‘But of course we want to win because we have a good opportunity to finish the job.’
Return of Gibbs
