Arsenal have already lined up big name replacements for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil
Arsenal are resigned to losing their two biggest stars – Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil – but have big plans in place to replace them.
According to the Mail, Arsene Wenger has already signed a new two year deal and will bring in Marco Reus to replace the want away stars.
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele has also been linked with a move and could join Reus at the Emirates in the summer.
It is reported that the club also want a new goalkeeper with Jack Butland and Jordan Pickford both being touted as options.
A left back is right at the top of the list as well following the poor form of Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs both struggling for from. Again from Celtic, Kieran Tierney is a target and Monaco;s Benjamin Mendy.
As well as an overhaul on the pitch, there is expected to be big changes behind the scenes. A sporting director will be brought in and there could be a number of other changes in the backroom staff.
Losing your best players is never a good thing, but it could give Arsenal a chance to start again and rethink the way they do business.
