Arsenal – International round up: Alexis plays 90 minutes despite injury
It is another international break and many of Arsenal’s stars are away with their countries. There are still games to be played this weekend but here is how they have got on so far.
Despite leaving Arsenal’s last game with an injury, Alexis played the full game in Chile’s 1-0 defeat to Argentina.
The goalkeeper played 90 minutes for Colmbia and kept a clean sheet in their 1-0 win against Bolivia.
Ramsey played the full 90 minutes for Wales in their goalless draw with the Republic of Ireland. He was booked.
He started up front for Nigeria and was substituted after 61 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Senegal.
Shkodran Mustafi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Both were unused substitutes in the game between Germany and England. Germany came away with a 1-0 win thanks to this stunner from Lukas Podolski.
Holding was an unused substitute in England under-21’s 1-0 loss to Germany.
The left back did not even make the bench for Spain in their 4-1 win over Israel.
