Arsenal launch bid for German starlet
Arsenal have made a bid for German starlet Aymen Barkok, accoriding to German outlet Spox.com.
The Eintracht Frankfurt player is currently with the German under 19s and a Spox exclusive claims that Arsenal are chasing the youngster.
It is thought to be for less than €10m. A relatively cheap deal for the highly rated player.
They report that Arsene Wenger has been watching the 19 year old for some time and even had a bid rejected last season.
Scouted Football say that he is a similar style to Jeff Reine-Adelaide.
Similar-ish to Reine-Adelaide in skill set: technically very good, athletic.

Arsenal are facing competition for his signature both from the Premier League and around the Bundesliga.
This would seemingly be one for the future should it happen but there is likely to be plenty of opportunities for some of Arsenal’s younger players due to the participation in the Europa League this season.
The likes of Adelaide, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and some of Arsenal’s other youngsters should get some valuable experience in the coming season.
