Arsenal open negotiations over January signing
Arsenal have opened talks to sign Marseille’s Christopher Rocchia, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
The wonder kid left back has been linked with a move away from the French club as his deal expires at the end of the season.
It is reported that Arsenal’s Gilles Grimandi is in discussion over signing the 19-year-old.
He has been offered a new deal at Marseille but looks unlikely to sign and extend his stay with the Ligue 1 club.
Arsenal signed Sead Kolasinac in the summer but with Nacho Monreal looking more likely to line up in the centre of defence now, Arsene Wenger may be looking to strengthen in that area.
Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested with Rocchia reportedly open to a move to Germany or England.
The Frenchman is said to favour moving with Arsene Wenger who still has a fantastic reputation with young French players, as shown by the words of Kylian Mbappe this summer.
