Arsenal team news: Gunners waiting on the fitness of Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey
Arsenal will wait and see if Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey will be fit for the Gunners Premier League clash with Bournemouth.
Both will return from international duty today leaving Arsene Wenger unsure if they will be fit enough to start the game.
Arsenal have won just one of their opening three games. The last game before the international break saw the Gunners suffer an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Liverpool.
It will be important for Arsenal to bounce straight back with a win against Bournemouth.
The boss did have a positive update on Jack Wilshere, who is still recovering from a broken leg at the end of the last season.
He suffered the injury at the end of last season and Wenger suggested that it is possible he could be in the squad for Saturday’s game, although he could still be a little short.
The Arsenal boss said: “He still needs some fitness work but he is on a positive trend and is getting better and better.”
He also has a positive update on Santi Cazorla who will run for the first time today.
Wenger said: “The thing about Santi is he is having his first run today so that is positive.”
