Arsenal send scouts to Germany to watch former Premier League star
Arsenal sent scouts to the Bundesliga match between FC Koln and Werder Bremen, with reports suggesting they were looking at Anthony Modeste.
The former Blackburn striker has enjoyed a very good season with 25 goals, and the hat trick he scored in this match will have impressed those looking on.
Manchester City, West Brom and Burnley also had scouts in attendance.

There looks likely to be massive changes at Arsenal this summer one way or another. Whether that is Arsene Wenger, Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil leaving or other members of the squad, there looks set to be a clear out.
Modeste would not exactly be a marquee signing that some fans would want, but he could be a useful addition to the squad.
It has been reported recently though that the fee could be pretty big if he does leave Koln. That makes it seem unlikely that Arsenal would do a deal for the player.
