Arsenal transfer news: Big deal for Juve star
Arsenal are chasing Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina, according to James Olley in the Evening Standard.
A deal would be worth around £20m.
The 23-year-old moved to Juventus in 2015 but has struggled to nail down a place in the team.
Olley suggests that Lemina plays with a similar style to Paul Pogba.
He is a Gabon international and is open to a move to England.
Arsenal are lookin to strengthen the squad this summer and there could be a lot of movement both in and out.
If Lemina does come in it would probably mean one of the other central midfielders leaving.
Francis Coquelin was linked with a move to Valencia yesterday and could be the most likely candidate after failing to impress this season.
Jack Wilshere is another whose place could come under threat from the 23 year old’s arrival.
Arsenal are yet to make a formal offer for the player but James Olley is usually one of the most reliable journalists when it comes to Arsenal news.
