The latest transfer speculation surfaced this morning with the news that Arsene Wenger is looking to sign Russian international midfielder Alan Dzagoev. According to the Daily Mail, the CSKA Moscow man could be available for around £13 million, although the young starlet’s contract expires in December. Dzagoev has enjoyed a terrific Euros campaign so far and is joint top scorer in the competition, contributing 3 goals including a brace in Russia’s 4-1 victory over Czech Republic.
Real Madrid’s Joselu is also thought to be on Arsene Wenger’s radar this summer, the young striker has scored 40 goals in 70 appearances for Real Madrid’s B side. According to TalkSport, it is thought that the German born player would be keen on a move having found his opportunities in the first team limited to just 1 appearance. Measuring at 6 ft 3 in, Joselu, 22, would be the perfect replacement for an outbound Nicklas Bendtner, who edges closer to a move away from the Emirates.
According to The Mirror, Swansea’s new manager Michael Laudrup, is keen on the Danish forward and may look to add his international compatriot to his squad. Bendtner’s exit seems almost inevitable, but Arsenal fans will be pleased to see Nicklas’ stock rise after scoring twice in Denmark’s 3-2 defeat to Portugal.
