Arsenal join the race for England and Premier League star
Arsenal will battle it out with Chelsea and Spurs to sign Ross Barkley, according to the Mirror.
Barkley has just over a year left on his deal and Ronald Koeman claimed that if he did not sign a new deal then he would be sold.
The 22-year-old has been at Everton for his entire career but could be set to move on this summer.
With the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all being linked with moves away lately, Barkley could be one of the many players that are likely to come into the club this summer.
Barkley has perhaps not fulfilled his potential at Everton, and it would probably be a costly transfer, despite not long to go on his contract. It would be a risky move, but one that if it worked out could be a great move for Arsenal.
Barkley would not be at the top of my list of players to sign, but if it is at the right price, he could be a good player for Arsenal.
