Arsenal v Cologne: Predicted Line Up – The return of Jack Wilshere and how many youngsters will get a chance?

Wing backs – Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Again, this could go a lot of ways. Sead Kolasinac could continue after a fine showing against Bournemouth and Mathieu Debuchy could be given a run out as he looks to be the back up to Hector Bellerin.

However, I would like to see these two youngsters given a chance. Nelson has been superb for the under 23s this season and played at wing back during preseason. It does not look to be his best position but it could be where he is most likely to get his chance.

Maitland-Niles broke into the first team last year when he made appearances in the FA Cup and he is a player that could benefit from Arsenal’s participation in this competition. He should start but it may end up being in midfield.

It’s not very often I completely agree with a team selection but this time I do. It shows the incredible depth in our squad and should be enough to see off Cologne – if they’ve had enough time to play together as a team.
