Arsenal v Lincoln: Predicted Lineup

Arsenal host Lincoln on Saturday in a game that is surprisingly important for Arsenal following their failure in other competitions. Here is how they could start the game.

David Ospina

He is the cup goalkeeper, he will start.

He has played at right back throughout the competition and I expect that to continue. Bellerin is unlikely to start but it may be Debuchy or Jenkinson.

Shkodran Mustafi

He may be rested as well but has played in the previous rounds so should keep his place.

Rob Holding

Has done well in all his games in the FA Cup. This should give him another chance to move up the pecking order.

Kieran Gibbs

Monreal was chosen on Tuesday so Gibbs should come in for this one.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Perhaps unlucky not to start against Sutton after a good display against Southampton but could return to the team.

Francis Coquelin

Was dropped for the Bayern game but should be back for this one. This should be what his role is. Cup games only.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide

A good performance against Southampton was followed by an underwhelming one against Sutton. Will be given another chance to shine.

Theo Walcott

Scored his 100th goal in the last round and can add to that here.

Played in the cup games so far and should continue. He has perhaps deserved more than this but it is what it is.

Olivier Giroud

It wouldn’t surprise me if Giroud is rested after playing in midweek but he seems the most likely starter. Could see a shuffling of the wingers with one of them moving here or even perhaps the return of Yaya Sanogo.
