Arsenal v Man Utd team news: Welbeck back in against his former club

Arsenal host Man Utd this afternoon in what is a strangely unimportant game between the two teams.

Both teams are outside of the top four and following Manchester City’s comprehensive win over Crystal Palace look all but certain to remain there.

Danny Welbeck returns to the team to face his former club. Rob Holding also comes back in as Arsenal stick with the 3-4-3.

Granit Xhaka starts after being expected to miss out with an ankle injury.

It looks to be a very good team, one that could look very familiar to next season’s. Kieran Gibbs perhaps the only one that looks very unlikely to have a chance to nail down his position.

Jose Mourinho has named a relatively weakened side with the Europa League in mind. It is still full of top players though.

This game may not mean as much in terms of the league as in seasons gone by, but it will always be a big game.
