Arsenal youngster to miss three months
Krystian Bielik is facing an extended spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a shoulder injury.
Bielik, who was named in Arsenal’s Europa League squad yesterday, will now miss the next three months after picking up the injury in the under 23’s win over Man City.
As you can see last few days weren’t best for me. Operation went well and my shoulder is getting better every day. I need rest now but i will be back on the pitch at the beggining of December. I look forward because remeber WHAT DOES NOT KILL MAKES YOU STRONGER See you soon ⚽️💪🏼 Jak widzicie ostatnie dni nie byly dla mnie najlepsze. Do zobaczenia niedługo ⚽️💪🏼
The youngster took to Instagram to update fans and has said that he will be back on the pitch at the start of December.
He had looked like he could break into the Arsenal first team this season after a promising preseason. The Gunners’ participation in the Europa League could have given Bielik, as well as the likes of Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, a chance to show that they are good enough to make it at the club.
He has become an important player for the Arsenal under 23s since joining the club and it is a shame for him that he will miss some playing time.
Get well soon Krystian.
