Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez nominated for PFA Player of the Year
Alexis Sanchez has been shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Year Award.
The Arsenal forward got off to a flying start this season as he was moved through the middle.
The second half of the season has not lived up to the first but the Chilean has still made it on the list of six players.
He is alongside Eden Hazard, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Harry Kane, N’Golo Kante and Romelu Lukaku.
Alexis is a big outsider for the award. Bookmakers have him at 50/1 while Kante is a big favourite.
1/9 – Kante
5/1 – Hazard
20/1 – Ibrahimovic
25/1 – Lukaku
40/1 – Kane
50/1 – Sanchez
Alexis has 18 goals in 29 appearances this season and has been the key man for Arsenal.
There are rumours that he will leave the club this summer with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG among those linked with signing him.
Unsurprisingly, he is the only Arsenal player nominated for either this award or the Young Player of the Year award.
