Arsene Wenger will stay at Arsenal for one more year
Arsene Wenger will stay for one more year, despite mounting pressure according to the Sunday Express.
The Arsenal manager said after Saturday’s game that he had made up his mind over his future and that we would know soon.
Now it appears as though the two-year deal that he was offered will now be a deal to stay on one more season.
Perhaps this shows that the club are not ready for a new manager or they have a manager in mind, but he will not move until 2018.
Things could turn nasty when or if this is made official, but I hope that if he announces that it will be his last season, then the whole club can pull together and get behind him and the team.
No matter what, Wenger has been an incredible servant to this club and deserves huge amounts of respect.
I just hope that the whole situation is cleared up sooner rather than later.
