Arsene Wenger’s press conference: Key points

Here are the key points from today’s press conference from Arsene Wenger.

Laurent Koscielny latest – “He has a scan today.”

Line up for Sutton – “Normal team.”

And on the likes of Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Ainsley Maitland-Niles getting a chance: “I gave them a chance because they deserved to play. They have a good opportunity to show that they can come in for players that normally play. They have played well and one or two might have an opportunity to show they can play in every game.”

Suggestions of changing room row after Bayern – “No, Not at all. Everybody was disappointed but there was no incident. Just huge sadness.”

On the importance of the FA Cup – “The FA Cup is one of our targets and it is the next game. For us to bounce back it is a very important game but it already was in my head.”

Time of for Sanchez – “He has a court case in Barcelona and he will back in training tomorrow.”

On when he will decide his future – Did you tell anybody that you will decide your future in March or April? “Yes.”

“No matter what happens I will manage next season, whether it’s here or somewhere else.

“I did not work here for 20 years not to care. I had many opportunities to go somewhere else but I care for this club and its future. It is important to be in safe hands.”
