Bayern target Alexis Sanchez as the German giants could have a very familiar look to Arsenal fans next season
Alexis Sanchez is a target for Bayern Munich this summer, as well as ex-player Serge Gnabry.
According to Bild, Bayern want to bring in the Chilean after their perceived failure this season in the Champions League.
Alexis has been linked with just about every club in Europe since it was revealed that talks over a new deal had stalled, but Bayern makes a lot more sense than many of the other clubs.
They have ageing wingers that will soon need replacing, and Alexis has played in the rest of Europe’s biggest leagues after spells with Udinese, Barcelona and currently Arsenal.
There aren’t many players that Bayern set their sights on that don’t end up playing there – just ask Dortmund fans.
They are also targeting Serge Gnabry who left the Gunners last summer. He has a very low release fee and Bayern were linked with the young winger a year ago.
He has impressed since moving to Werder Bremen and has made his full international debut in that time.
They are also said to be chasing Schalke’s Leon Goretzka – a player thought to be perfect for Arsenal by many.
