Lucas has been linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer after failing to nail down a place in the starting line up and now it seems his former club are in the chase.
He signed a year ago but due to Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud gaining fitness quicker than expected, he struggled for chances in the first team.
He came out yesterday and criticised the club for their treatment of him. He was not happy with his lack of chances or that his squad number was given to Alexandre Lacazette.
Now it seems his Arsenal nightmare is edging closer to a finish.
He is one of a number of players expected to head for the exit door before the end of the transfer window. The club has already sold Wojciech Szczesny and the likes of Kieran Gibbs, Calum Chambers and Theo Walcott could all follow soon.
