Brazil international has held talks with Arsenal according to his father
Monaco full back, Fabinho, has held talks with three Premier League clubs including Arsenal, his father has said.
He said: “We have talked to Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, we have even been approached by Barcelona, but it didn’t go any further.”
Fabinho is primarily a right back so it would be a surprise to see him come in with Hector Bellerin looking set at that position for a number of years. If the rumoured interest from Barcelona is real then perhaps the Brazilian would be his replacement.
The Monaco man has played in a defensive midfield role for the French side though. Arsenal have been linked with a lot of midfielders recently so it would be no surprise to see that position strengthened in the summer. It would be a surprise to see Fabinho be the one that comes in though.
The player himself has links to Jose Mourinho and Manchester United seems like a much more likely destination than North London.
Fabinho has four caps for Brazil and has established himself as a key part of the Monaco team that is leading Ligue 1.
