The deal will go through on July 1.
Arsenal have been linked with the full back for some time. Some reports even suggested it was a done deal weeks ago.
Man City, Milan and Everton were all reportedly interested in Kolasinac but he turned them down in favour of a move to Arsenal.
It was a real position of need with Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal struggling throughout the season.
It may be a sign that 3-4-3 is here to stay as well. Kolasinac has thrived in the left sided role for Schalke.
With him on one side and Bellerin on the other, Arsenal may have the perfect players for the system.
It signals Arsenal’s first steps into the transfer market but it will surely not be the last.
I would expect a busy summer at the Emirates.
