How Arsenal could line up next season following the signings of Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac
Arsenal look set to announce their second signing of the summer with Alexandre Lacazette reportedly undergoing a medical before completing his move to the Gunners.
It follows up the signing of Sead Kolasinac from Schalke earlier in the summer.
Arsenal shifted to a 3-4-3 late in the year last season and it really turned things around for Arsene Wenger’s team.
It would be a shock to see them line up any other way heading into next season.
Kolasinac in particular is perfectly suited to the system as it is right now. It does not come much better in this system than him on one side and Hector Bellerin on the other.
This looks the most likely way things will go. I would say that is a pretty exciting looking team. Of course, that assumes Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil both stay – reports have siggested that could well be the case.
If Alexis leaves then I would expect to see either Thomas Lemar or Riyad Mahrez come in and take his place in that line up.
