Is this the end for Jack Wilshere? Italian club make offer for English midfielder
Sampdoria have made an offer for Jack Wilshere, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The rather low offer of £6.2m plus add ons has been rejected by Arsenal but this could be the beginning of a number of bids for the midfielder who looks to have no future at the Emirates.
His contract expires at the end of next season and there has been no sign that his time at the Gunners will be extended so he could be sold this year.
He spent last year on loan at Bournemouth before suffering yet another injury that cut short his season.
Since breaking through as a teenager he has struggled to stay on the pitch with injury after injury cutting down his playing time.
Wilshere was one of the brightest talents in Europe just a few years ago but now, according to Di Marzio, Arsenal after just £8.8m to let him leave the club.
