Jack Wilshere set for Arsenal contract talks despite yet another major injury
Jack Wilshere will return to Arsenal from his lona at Bournemouth and have discussions over a new contract.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal will offer the English midfielder a new contract to avoid losing him on a free in 2018 when his current deal expires.
It was confirmed yesterday that Wilshere had suffered a fracture of his left fibula – a similar injury to the ones that kept him out for around eight months not too long ago.
The Mail report that if he does not sign a new deal, he will be sold this summer.
It is a sad thing but frankly, Arsenal can not keep Wilshere any longer. You can’t rely on him to play more than 10 games a season – if that.
He has not developed enough since breaking into the team as a teenager and Arsenal need to cut their losses and take whatever they can get for the injury prone midfielder.
