Man City make fresh Alexis Sanchez bid
Man City have made a second offer for Alexis Sanchez, according to Sky Sports News.
Citing a senior figure as a source, Sky claim that they have made a bid worth £60m for the Chilean.
They have already seen a £50m bid rejected and this edges closer to the £70m that Arsenal are demanding.
It seems unlikely to be accepted but this deal looks set to go all the way.
It is a cash only bid after rumours of a part exchange deal yesterday.
The Gunners want to find a replacement before they will let their star man leave.
Sky claim that they have gone back for Thomas Lemar after being linked with him throughout the summer.
Julian Draxler and Ross Barkley have also been linked today.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain completed his move to Liverpool earlier and the Gunners look set to make a profit this transfer window, despite claims of a £200m “war chest” at the start of the summer.
