One of Wenger’s closest allies heading out the door at Arsenal. Is this a signal of the manager’s intentions?
Boro Primorac looks set to follow the likes of Adries Jonker and Freddie Ljungberg out the door at Arsenal as he is linked with a job in Turkey according to Turkish newspaper Fotospor.
Primorac has been at Arsenal throughout almost the entirety of Arsene Wenger’s reign and perhaps this is an indication over the manager’s future.
The pair are very good friends and have worked together since Wenger’s time in Japan. Primorac is 62-years-old and one has to wonder why now would be the time he would choose to move on.
Even if Wenger does stay, it is yet another role that will need to be filled. The club are yet to find a replacement for Jonker as head of the club’s academy and this will be just another headache for Arsenal.
When you add that to the potential departures from the playing squad, this summer could be a huge one for Arsenal.
