Real Madrid star fancies move to Arsenal as he looks for a way out
Karim Benzema is looking for a way out of Real Madrid and Arsenal could be the club that gives it to him.
The Gunners have repeatedly been linked with a move for Benzema – even dating back to his days with Lyon.
He has looked likely to leave Madrid for some time but has ended up staying in the Spanish capital.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, he is eyeing up the chance to join Wenger’s side and get a new challenge in the Premier League.
However, it remains to be seen if he is even needed now.
The Gunners set a club record when they signed Benzema’s compatriot Alexandre Lacazette in the summer and it would be a surprise to see Arsenal add to their striking options.
They have Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott who can all play the position as well as Alexis Sanchez who had a successful spell in the position last season.
