Revealed: What Arsenal will do if Alexis Sanchez does not sign a new deal
Arsenal are willing to risk losing Alexis Sanchez on a free if he does not sign a new deal, according to the Evening Standard.
The Gunners are in a bit of a stand off with the Chilean whose deal expires at the end of next season.
They have offered him a deal worth around £300,000 per week but he is after £400,000.
He has not yet returned to the club for pre season as he was given an extended break as he was away with Chile at the Confederations Cup.
He has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich, Man City and PSG but it seems as though Arsenal will make him stay and see out his contract.
It seems like a big change of policy for Arsenal who have always sold players in similar situations in the past.
They could get upwards of £50m for Sanchez but seem willing to risk that.
They must be confident that they can convince him to sign a new deal eventually.
Signing the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac as well as the other rumoured incoming players will be a good start in convincing him that the club mean business.
