Southampton v Arsenal predicted line up
Arsenal head to Southampton on the back of a very good performance in a win over Man Utd on Sunday.
That win, combined with Liverpool dropping points against the Saints, kept Arsenal’s slim chance of reaching the top four. Arsenal could close within one point of them with wins in their next two games – both games in hand.
With a short gap between the two games I would expect some changes.
Granit Xhaka made a shock recovery to play against United but had to go off towards the end. There have been reports that he will be fit to play this game, but it would not be a surprise to see Francis Coquelin come in for him.
There could be changes at the back as well. Shkodran Mustafi is in full training and may come into the side. Gabriel had played in all the games with a back three before Sunday’s win and could also come in.
Kieran Gibbs has not exactly impressed at left wing-back so Nacho Monreal could be moved back there with some changes in the back line.
