Reports suggest that Arsenal front man Robin Van Persie is yet to discuss a contract extension with the club.
Ivan Gazidis alluded to a meeting with Van Persie where it was agreed that nothing would be say, from either party.
Tweeted: “Van Persie to resume talks with Arsenal when back from Caribbean break. He’s keen to stay, with or without new contract. Ball in
So it seems that the talk of prior arrangements with AFC or Manchester City are very premature and that a decision on RVP’s future is clearly yet to be made. We should be encouraged by the David Orstein’s comments he is a very reliable source when it comes to Arsenal matters and will only disclose accurate information.
Another interested party in the talks will be Theo Walcott who is reported to want to wait until Van Persie’s future is secured at Arsenal before deciding on his own.
