Arsenal eyeing up move for Everton star
Arsenal are eyeing up a move for Ross Barkley, according to James Olley.
The Evening Standard journalist is one of the more reliable people when it comes to Arsenal news but this one comes a little out the blue.
Sounds like #afc exploring possibility of Draxler & also Barkley. Neither like-for-like but late moves increase possibility of Sanchez exit.

Barkley has a year to run on his deal so could be brought in for a relatively cheap deal, but it appears it would take at least £30m to make it happen.
The knock on effect of a deal for Barkley would be that it would mean Arsenal have somewhat replaced Alexis Sanchez – something that apparently needs to happen for Arsenal to consider letting the Chilean leave.
Thomas Lemar and Julian Draxler are the other names that have been mentioned but all would be dependent on the Alexis Sanchez sale.
The other two players would be more desirable but Barkley is perhaps the most available of them due to his contract situation.
