Arsenal launch new kit – what the fans had to say
Arsenal held a kit launch this morning at Kings Cross Station in London.
They revealed the new design of the home shirt with a little help from some fans as well as club legends Robert Pires and Martin Keown.
The design is slightly different to the leaks that have been seen over the past couple of months but very similar. It is a slightly darker red to the previous kit.
Of course, the fans had their say on the shirt. Some really liked it, while some, of course, hated it. You can not please everybody can you?

One fan said: “Nice! Now get some new signings that we’d like to see wearing the kit ahead of the season!
Another liked the kit but like many, did not quite understand the living room thing: New “Arsenal kit is decent. Still don’t get the weird living room theme they’ve launched though.”
One fan added: “New kit is very nice. Like the collar, nice details, proper Arsenal red & a proper badge too. Not quite hooped socks but they’ll do.”
However, some were not so keen.
One Gooner simply said: “We need a new kit manufacturer.”
Obviously not happy with Puma’s designs.
“Another terrible kit. That material is just horrific. I can totally see Arsenal renewing with them as well,” said another.
Some fans took the opportunity to suggest some signing. Of course Kylian Mbappe was one of the most frequent. Every other reply to the club’s tweet was “ANNOUNCE MBAPPE.”
