Chilean’s plan protest over lack of fight from Alexis Sanchez’s Arsenal teammates

Thousands of Chilean fans have signed up to take part in a march in the country’s capital in a protest over Alexis Sanchez’s teammates.

The Facebook event was started following Arsenal’s loss to Bayern Munich and now has over 9,000 people signed up to take part.

My Spanish isn’t quite up to scratch but Google translate tells me that the event says:

“Chileans are tired of watching one of our stars work alone so that their team can move forward. We do not want him to play in Madrid, not to return to Barcelona, the truth is that we do not give a damn what team to play, we just want to see him fight along with ten others to get results. No more alone.”

It is a long way to travel but I am sure plenty of Arsenal fans around the world would love to take part. At times this season it has felt as though Alexis has been a one-man team and this has done nothing to calm the rumours that the forward could leave the club in the summer.

Five players that could replace Alexis Sanchez if he leaves this summer
