Predicted Arsenal line-up for Liverpool game

Petr Cech

It appears that Cech is on a shorter leash than many would have thought he would be, but he should keep his place as the Premier League goalkeeper for this game.

Hector Bellerin

He has struggled with injury of late but an extended break should have done Bellerin the world of good and he should start in this one

Shkodran Mustafi

He hasn’t been in the best of form lately but it is a no brainer that he starts ahead of Gabriel

Laurent Koscielny

There were fears that he would miss this game but he should be fit and if he is fit, he has to start. We saw against Bayern what happens when he does not.

Kieran Gibbs

It wouldn’t be a shock to see Monreal start, but Gibbs has been preffered over the Spaniard lately.

Granit Xhaka

Wenger’s first choice midfielder and he will start

Francis Coquelin

Should he start? No. Will he start? Of course.

Theo Walcott

Likely to start on the right although it wouldn’t be a shock to see him dropped to the bench and a combination of Iwobi/Welbeck and Chamberlain on the wings

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Has been in a great run of form in the centre of midfield but I’d expect to see him on the wing. Which side depends on who else is picked.

Mesut Ozil

Come in for a lot of criticism lately and needs to show he can control this game. It may be hard again though with the likely midfield behind him.

Alexis Sanchez

The top goalscorer and the team’s player of the season so far. Has to start up front here.
